After 2 successful cryo-EM schools in 2017 and 2018, NeCEN is pleased to announce dates for the 3rd edition.
From 28 Oct to 15 Nov 6 participants will receive 3-weeks hands-on training on 2 Titan Krios microscopes equipped with Falcon3 and K2 detectors.
Practical’s will cover:
- Cryo-EM sample freezing on a vitrobot
- Cryo-EM grids clipping and loading for autoloader systems
- Cryo-EM sample screening
- Titan Krios alignments
- Automated Single Particle Data Acquisition with EPU
Before coming to the practical’s, participants are expected to watch all online videos available at http://em-learning.com to get familiar and learn the basics of cryo-EM.
