NEMI day 2021 postponed

We are sorry to announce that in light of the current increase in covid cases in the Netherlands, we have decided to postpone the NEMI day that was planned for the 23rd of November at Naturalis Leiden.

The idea of the NEMI day is for EM scientists to be able to interact with each other and the sponsors and we feel that this is not possible to the extent that we all would like with the current tightened covid measures. Additionally we do not want to risk infecting people at this event. Because we are aiming for a live event rather than an online one, we decided to postpone the NEMI day until 22nd of March 2022. The new event will still be held at Naturalis Leiden from 9:00 – 17:00.

For all of you who have paid the €15,- fee there are three options:

  • If you do nothing your registration will automatically be valid for the new event on the 22nd of March;
  • If you won’t be able to attend the NEMI day in March, you can contact us at necen@biology.leidenuniv.nl and donate the €15,- to NEMI;
  • Send an email to necen@biology.leidenuniv.nl if you would like to be reimbursed and we’ll make sure you get your money back.

If you were scheduled to give a talk or present a poster we hope you’ll be available on the 22nd of March as well. Please let us know if you would still like to present then.

We hope to see you in March!
