The scientific director of NeCEN Prof. Bram Koster, and his lab at Leiden University Medical Centre (LUMC), in collaboration with researchers from LUMC and Utrecht University (UU) published an article in Science magazine about C1 initiation complex binding to IgG hexameric structures and C1 activation. The high resolution cryo-EM imaging was performed at the NeCEN facility.
