Researchers of the Institute Biology Leiden (IBL) and Leiden University Medical Centre (LUMC) were able to create micro-meter sized logos of the University Leiden and NeCEN. These were created with the latest state-of-the art Aquilos Cryo-FIB-SEM (Thermo Fisher Scientific) of the IBL. For reference the size of the dot of the letter i in the university logo is around 1µm in diameter.
