Who are we?
NeCEN offers research institutes and companies access to advanced cryo-transmission electron microscopes. The two NeCEN microscopes are specifically designed to explore complex structures inside cells with great detail. NeCEN is currently in the startup phase and is expected to be operating fully in 2012.

Experts from eleven organizations collaborated to realize the Netherlands Centre for Electron Nanoscopy NeCEN. The locations of the NeCEN partners are given in the map below. The centre is located in Leiden.
