Single Particle Analysis

Structures of large proteins and macromolecular complexes can be determined using single particle analysis (SPA). The technique includes software programs that deduce information from the TEM images and reconstruct the 3D structure. The NeCEN microscope optimized for SPA will have a very sensitive Falcon detector.
